Here at First Class Supply, we are really proud of the difference we make to our local community, especially our local schools.
Our ethos is simple – it’s important to us to ‘give something back’ and we’re delighted to have made a real difference in our partner schools. Not as ‘one offs’, but consistently in recognition of the relationships we have formed.
Our exclusive partnerships with the well-respected Newcastle United Foundation, the Newcastle Falcons Community Foundation and Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books, has enabled us to ensure thousands of local school children have enjoyed interactive workshops, events and unique sporting experiences and training at no cost to our schools.

First Class Supply, one of the fastest growing independent teaching supply agencies in the North East, has donated 17 computers to local schools.
The Whitley Bay-based firm donated 15 high quality computers over the past year to a number of its partner schools, and is now donating two additional machines to Ponteland Middle School.
Despite having a budget allocation of only £500 per pupil, Ponteland Middle School, which has been rated as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted for the past five years, is one of the highest achieving middle schools in the country.
Dr Caroline Pryer, Head teacher at Ponteland Middle School, said: “The school has enjoyed a professional and friendly relationship with First Class Supply, and we are very grateful for the support that they have shown us with this donation. Our funding is mainly invested in teachers and teaching assistants, so we are limited with our resources. The donation of these computers will be a massive boost to the school and benefit our students greatly.”
First Class Supply are proud to have worked in partnership with the school for the past nine years and have previously helped out with fundraising initiatives and have sponsored several sports kits.
Lesley Robinson, director of First Class Supply, said: “We are delighted to help out Ponteland Middle School in this way. The school has enjoyed great success with limited resources and funding, which is a testament to the overall running of the school and its teaching.
“We pride ourselves on supporting local interests that benefit both the community and our partner schools. I hope the two donated computers will be of great use to Ponteland Middle School, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with the school for the next nine years and beyond!”
