Ceo sleepout 2016
A huge well done to Lesley and Steph who joined over 60 other business leaders at last night’s CEO Sleepout which was hosted by Newcastle United Foundation in aid of Changing-Lives.
Lesley and Steph slept pitch side at St James’ park with just their sleeping bags for protection in order to raise funds to help support local homeless people. Despite the awful rain and the bitter cold, all the fundraisers stayed through the night, though the word sleep wasn’t exactly appropria…te! Lesley and Steph said that doing something like this really highlights the plight of the homeless – to do this for just one night, with the support of family and friends, knowing you are returning home to a nice warm bed doesn’t come close to what these people endure on a daily basis, so all your support has been truly appreciated.
