Big Congratulations to Team Invictus!

Students had a wheel-y good time after visiting the home of British motorsport.
Pupils at Valley Gardens Middle School won a trip to Silverstone and a place in the national finals of a Formula 1 design competition after coming second out of 11 teams.
Team Invictus – made up of Amelia Titterton, Tony Dalziel, Bethany Robson and Sam Heaney – had been working since last December creating virtual 3D models of a mini F1 car.
Headteacher David Godfrey said: “The students have had a real insight into the job of an engineer and provided a great opportunity to introduce them to the world of science, engineering and technology.”
They secured sponsorship from First Class Supply, who enabled the teams to design and build a pitstop display to showcase their designs, purchase uniforms and help finance the trip to Silverstone.
A spokesperson for First Class Supply said: “We at First Class Supply are extremely proud of our longstanding relationship with the school.
“We were delighted to be asked to be lead sponsor for the recent Formula One event involving Team Invictus. A very well done to all involved.”
