Autism Awareness Day – 2 April 2020
Published 17.03.2020
Thursday 2 April, 6pm
Autism Awareness Day isn’t until 2 April 2020, but anyone with an interest will not want to miss this event at Seven Stories The National Centre for Children’s Books!
Join author Rose Robbins as she talks about her two books Me and My Sister and Talking is Not My Thing! as part of Autism Awareness Day. Both books draw on Rose’s personal experience of growing up as sibling to a non-verbal profoundly autistic brother, as well as being a late diagnosed autistic woman herself. Find out how these books can be utilised to encourage understanding and positive self-image for Autistic children and their siblings.
Supported by Scallywag Press.
Tickets are free but advance booking essential.
